Welcome to Season 2015-16
and a New and exciting
season for our Club.
After some rather lean seasons over the last few years, things are finally starting to show improvement. With the continued support of both Lockyer Valley Speedway and Roma International Speedway and now with the support of the IBRP Carina Speedway in Bundaberg, we have managed to put together a better looking list of racing events for the Season 2015-16.
This season sees us with 6 rounds over 3 venues .
We have been in contact with Speedway Australia and we will be taking part in some new and exciting stuff they are planning for next season as well. Can’t say much more about that at present other than to say it will be great for speedway in general and awesome for our club in particular. But you will have to keep reading our newsletters to find out more once more is made public.
Talk among our members and friends gives me a good indication of a steady increase in our car numbers over the next few months and discussions with speedway magazines have been promising for some advertising and editorials to be published over the coming months.
Development of our Qld Outlaw SuperSix Division is progressing nicely with the final rules and specs almost ready for publication and they will be included in the years print of our club rule books due to be out for our meet in November.
Our sponsorship packs are have been completed and a major push for sponsorships at multiple levels will shortly begin. So if you have any ideas or leads as to possible sponsors for the club let me know here at the club office.
Drivers profile updates are close to completion and should be complete by the Lockyer Valley Speedway event in November. Keep in mind that if you are out and about chasing sponsors for yourself, every driver has a profile page on the website with a phot gallery page and a video gallery page attached. On all 3 of these pages we can post advertising for your personal sponsors giving them a “weblink” to their business websites or facebook pages. And any deals done for that are just between you and your sponsors.
We will attempt to get a news letter out once every 2 months to keep everyone “in the loop’. If you have any news or any stuff you would like to include in the newsletter please let me know and we can post it up for you.
